Our world-first advert features people riding e-foil surfboards across the sea towards a beautiful beach hotel – metaphorically spending their way to the holiday of their dreams.

The advert is called ‘Everyday’ and has more than 35 e-foil riders from around the world doing everyday tasks to show that, as well as collecting Avios by booking flights, you can also collect when you spend on things such as grocery shopping, grabbing a coffee or booking a taxi.

It’s real! Almost all the footage is shot ‘in-camera’ which means there was very limited special effects and all the stunt work you see is completely real.

The stunt was choreographed by James Bond’s ‘No Time to Die’ stuntman Boris Martinez and e-foil expert Adrian Valios.

The song in the Avios advert is ‘Seasons (Waiting on You)’ by Future Islands.

The creative director behind our advert, Sam Walker, listened to more than 1,000 songs before deciding on the suitably epic track.

They are riding e-foils. An e-foil is basically a motorised surfboard that glides above water.

E-foils have an electric propeller and, when enough speed is generated, it rises above the water to give the impression that you're effortlessly gliding – kind of like surfing and flying at the same time!
